The Coaster Campervan
One of our newest campervans to hit the JUCY fleet, our Coaster is proof that you can have it all when you tour Australia! With easy maneuverability to navigate city streets, a spacious interior, and a comfy double bed for two, it’s a winning (custom-built) design.
As a bonus, it’s a diesel camper, making it super fuel-efficient. Less money on petrol means more money on cool Australian attractions. Like scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef or dolphin watching from Kangaroo Island.
Are you ready to explore Australia in style?

PLEASE NOTE:
- For hires of 51 days and over, a maximum of 50 days excess reduction premium will be charged.
- It is your responsibility to collect accurate third party details in the event of an accident, regardless of what excess reduction cover you have taken, and regardless also of fault.
- If Stress Free Plus excess reduction is not taken, and roof/rooftop pod damage or single vehicle rollover incident occurs, a charge of up to $5,000 will apply to cover damage to the JUCY vehicle and any third party vehicle and/or property.
- If Risk Taker excess reduction is chosen:
- A bond to cover the excess will be pre-authorised for security on the hirer’s credit card, even if you have alternative insurance with another provider.
- All or part of this bond will be claimed by JUCY in the event of an accident and will be retained until the value of the damage is determined. Any balance between the bond and the damage cost will be returned as soon as is practical.
- Any costs to repair damage caused by a third party may not be recoverable as insurance is not compulsory in Australia.
- If you are on Stress Free or Stress Free plus and don't have a credit card and are providing a debit card at the time of pickup, JUCY will hold a $300 security bond to cover any infringements and/or charges that may occur whilst on hire e.g. Tolls, speeding fines, cleaning fees, camping fines etc.
- JUCY’s excess reduction options are null and void if any of the Rental Agreement terms and conditions are breached, in which case you will be liable for the full cost of damage. For more information please see JUCY Ts & Cs.
- Please know that the bond we have authorized will automatically be released (if you haven't broken any JUCY T&Cs) either 7 days after you've picked up or 48 hours after you've dropped off– whichever is the earliest. You could notice it takes between 7 - 30 business days to show back up, which is all depending on your bank/card provider. Please note that once it's back safely in your bank it won't appear as a refund on your statement because it was only held as an authorisation.
Other camper options
Travel Australia in our stylish, great-value diesel campervan
If you’re planning a bucket-list-worthy Australian roadie or a low-key adventure nearby, consider our Coaster campervan as your trusty sidekick. We’ve crammed our Coaster with some epic features. It’s like our custom-camper builders went a little Mary Poppins as they designed our newest vehicle on the fleet.
The kitchen is our best yet. A sizeable 50-litre fridge is perfect for stocking with groceries, especially on those outback adventures where supplies can be limited. Do your best Jamie Oliver impression as you cook up a storm using the gas cooker, sink, and well-stocked supply of utensils and kitchen equipment. You can even dine in, thanks to the inside table and bench seats. BYO rose and candles if you’re on a romantic adventure, though!
We love driving our Coaster, too. Cruise control, power steering, A/C in the cabin, and a dual battery system, make for a smooth ride. Plus the reversing camera ensures every car park or campground spot is handled with ease (great in those destinations that are teeming with wildlife, too!). And, the Bluetooth speakers mean you’re never bored on the road, whether it’s blasting a top tune, or getting stimulated by a podcast.
If you’re all-in for a JUCY campervan hire, click on the Book Now button, or call our crew on 1800 150 850, anytime. We’re also mad-keen travellers, too, and offer free travel advice if you need inspiration!
Enjoy a JUCY Coaster Adventure in These Rom-Com Worthy Travel Hotspots
For some, a romantic getaway may be to go on an island flop and drop vacay or to enjoy fine dining atop a bustling city’s tallest building. For the adventurous traveller, however, nothing says love like a few days’ escape into nature. Broaden your horizons across Australia by day, snuggle up in our 2-berth JUCY Coaster by night. Perfect!
We’ve got loads of cool campervan itineraries, but we’ve picked out a handful that we think are well-matched on a journey for two. Read on.
Beach to Bush & Back Again: South-East Queensland
While South-East Queensland may be famous for its golden beaches, idyllic temperatures, and action-based activities, it’s not all the region has to offer. Nope! In fact, you can be on Burleigh beach watching the surfers catch a barrel at sunrise, and not too long after, be chomping on a breakfast bar from a scenic lookout in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland’s oldest national park. Some things are that close around here!
Our 7-day South East Queensland road trip itinerary gives you the skinny on the two gorgeous mountain towns of Montville and Maleny. We also steer you north to the Sunshine Coast’s most popular beach spot, Noosa! As this itinerary weaves you between mountains and beaches, you’ll appreciate the compact size and easy drivability of our JUCY Coaster. Plus, you can pick up your JUCY wheels at our Gold Coast Airport branch and drop off in Brisbane if you fancy (a one-way fee applies)?
A Perfect 10: Sydney to Jervis Bay
Cosy up for a heart-warming 3-day long weekend adventure from Sydney to Jervis Bay along the Grand Pacific Drive. This is a good time, not a long time; perfect for extended weekends, public holiday getaways, or a beat-the-crowd weekday sojourn.
While Jervis Bay is the heart-stopping beaut of this trip, it’s worth noting there are plenty of supporting actors along the way. Like the views from Wollongong‘s Flagstaff Point or across the lush vineyards in Bowral.
Once in Jervis Bay, astounding experiences await. Legit! It’s amazing how a perfect white sandy beach elevates everything in its path like a giant reflector on a modelling shoot. And that includes you and your selfies! You may be gorgeous already, but check out that perfect 10 you snap when you take a selfie on Hyams Beach or in Huskisson (tag us #jucyworld and prove it)!
Time in Nature is Never Wasted: Cairns to Airlie Beach
As some quote goes, “time in nature is never wasted". We may not know who said it, but we definitely know it’s true! In fact, our nature-focused Cairns to Airlie Beach road trip itinerary feels like a time-stretching adventure! It may be 10-days in length, but it’ll feel like you’ve frozen time as you discover countless regional gems.
Like the ancient flora found in the UNESCO-listed Barron Gorge National Park. You can also allow the stress from your 9-5 (or this year) fade away as you patiently seek out the unique Lumholtz tree kangaroo in Wooroonooran National Park. Want to feel like a legit time traveller, too? Spy the prehistoric cassowary in Mission Beach.
Seriously, this is one of our fave roadies for connection to country, wildlife, and each other!
Away from it All: Adelaide to Alice Springs
Really want to get away from it all? To feel like it’s just you and your plus one (or your bestie)? Then drive outback following our adventure-filled itinerary from Adelaide to Alice Springs. Take in your beautiful surroundings as you head north through South Australia and into the red centre to experience a different way of life away from the go-go-go of the big cities.
Visit the ancient craggy mountains of the Flinders Ranges (some sediment here is said to be one billion years old!) and the underground mining town of Coober Pedy. Of course, Uluru and Kata Tjuta are the stars of this red centre show – figuratively and literally! In our opinion, there is no better way to experience a stay out this way than in a campervan. It’s truly magical to enjoy the million-star view while camping in comfort in this sacred area. This is a road trip you'll never forget.
Looking to head away with more peeps? No worries, hire our 4-berth campervans – the JUCY Champ or Condo!
Whether you’re looking to rekindle romance, escape the rat race, or connect to country, we’ve got you, boo. Book your JUCY Coaster with our heaps-friendly JUCY crew, or use the booking form above. Let’s do this!
